Hello again!!
Today I’m excited. I’m grateful. I’m proud. And honestly? I’m emotional in a way I didn’t fully expect. My debut novel is officially live on Amazon, and seeing Clover’s story out there – real, searchable, purchasable is just… a lot.
Over 2 million books are published each year. It’s easy to feel like just a tiny drop in an ocean of words, a needle in the haystack. But today? Today, I feel like I’m standing on top of the world.
Why release 5/20/25? Well, it landed in a perfect project window, and I’m a total number nerd and love the pattern 05/20/25. Clean, math-y, satisfying, not weirdly cursed like when my birthdate digits show up (don’t ask …just know I’m suspicious of it). So, May 20th felt just right, not spooky.
This story came together with a lot of heart, determination, and (way too much) coffee. I’ve also been stress-baking, which means I’ve eaten my weight in homemade sourdough. I bounced story ideas off Preacher, my dog and not-so-silent creative partner. I also talked to Eleanor—just kidding, she’s my sourdough starter. But I’m not joking about Preacher.
And I’m not done yet. I’m still feeling wildly inspired and already hard at work on the next project. There are more stories in me—more women with quiet strength and fierce hearts waiting to come alive on the page.
